An extremely popular shotgun, the M870 composite stock version feels like the real thing. Used widely by law enforcement agencies around the world. Identical to the older composite stock Maruzen M870 with the only exception being the longer tube magazine.
The tube is extended to end flush with the barrel, this increases the capacity from the originals 4 to this models 6 shells (comes with 3 shells). Each shell is capable of holding 1 to 5 BBs at a time; the single BB having minimal spread and maximum power and range, the 5 BBs dropping FPS considerably but have a good spread; you can tune your shell loads for your preference. We recommend keeping to 3 BBs per shell at a time for decent performance.
The pump-action of this model means shooting is a little slower then the semi-auto M1100 models but far more reliable. The low pressure of the HFC134a / Duster gas that it runs on can sometimes create problems (jamming) with the semi-auto action M1100 but the pump-action of this model bypasses that issue completely.
Please note that this weapon runs on HFC134a / Duster gas only; higher pressure gases like Top / Green / Propane gas or Red gas is simply to high a pressure for this model and runs the risk of damaging the internals. At 220 FPS (+/- 350 depending on the BB count per shell) it is low powered enough for point blank range which is critical if you intend to use this multi-BB-blast weapon indoors .
This model comes with 3 shells, you can pick up extra shells separately (A-SHEL009C).
