Another variant AEG M4 from Socom Gears new reasonably priced series, a good solid M4 for under 300 USD makes it a serious contender for the Airsofter looking for a good skirmishable base weapon.
Socom Gear PWS M4 Mk.I series AEGs come with ABS polymer receivers which is the basis for bringing down its cost and weight. With high quality, fine texture and good finish it works perfectly well both in terms of performance and look. If you are really keen on a metal receiver you can always sort one out later after you can afford the step up.
The weapons come with the high grade Aluminum PWS Mk.I front sets (both 10 and 12 inch versions), textured AR motor grip with heat sink, rear sling mount, crane stock and most of all, the 450rds Extra High capacity magazine. More and more users are switching to midcaps but a good old fashioned high cap like this is good enough to sort you out until you get around to sorting out more magazines.
The medieval looking flash hider gives your weapon the unique look to make it stand out from the rest and the unusually shaped rail system not only looks the part but the accessory options multiply its tactical potential right out of the box.
The internals are not bad for its price; slap in an 8.4V battery and it is firing at around 15 RPS, a 9.6V battery steps it up to a spicier 18 RPS which is not too shabby at all at 350 fps.
At under 300 USD and around 3kgs, it is the perfect choice for those who need a weapon to toss about without feeling it too much in the forearms or the wallet.
