Airsoft Ruger MKIV / AAP 01

Ruger MKIV / AAP01

The Ruger Standard Model is a rimfire semi-automatic pistol introduced in 1949 and was the founding member of a product line of .22 Long Rifle cartridge handguns. Designed by William Ruger who copied the design from the WW2 Japanese Nambu pistol, the extremely simple design allowed Ruger to undersell the competition and launch the company he founded. With over four interations, it is marketed as an inexpensive .22 caliber rimfire pistol intended for casual sport and target shooting and plinking. The airsoft Ruger exists in many forms utilizing a similar design though with some unusual alterations such as different magazines examples include the modular Action Army AAP 01 Assassin GBB Airsoft Pistol to the WE Galaxy G Series Green Gas Airsoft Pistol with the WE Galaxy pistols coming in different models that take airsoft Glock, 1911 or Hi Capa magazines.
