VSS Vintorez / AS Val

The VSS Vintorez and AS Val were a series of Soviet-designed rifles featuring an integral suppressor and entered Soviet service in 1987. Both the Vintorez and Val were developed by TsNIITochMash to replace modified general-purpose firearms, such as the AKS-74UB for clandestine operations. The Vintorez and Val are integrally suppressed and chambered in 9×39mm, a subsonic cartridge, in order to reduce its report, the SR-3 Vikhir is an even more compact variant with a shortened barrel and folding stock for concealed carry. The airsoft VSS Vinterez and Airsoft AS Val are niche airsoft guns that do have several models mainly by LCT, such as the LCT AS VAL Airsoft AEG Rifle and LCT Airsoft VSS Vintorez AEG Rifle. LCT also makes the LCT Airsoft SR3 Compact PDW AEG Rifle (Folding Stock) and is the only company to do so.
