THOMSON / CENTER CONTENDER

THOMPSON G2 CONTENDER AIRSOFT

The Thompson/Center Contender is a break-action single-shot pistol or rifle that was introduced in 1967 by the company Thompson/Center Arms. Originally the brainchild of Warren Center, the break action design allowed for the barrel to easily be exchanged to fire different calibers without any modification to the frame. This resulted in an exceptionally accurate pistol that made the Contender a popular choice for sports shooting or pistol hunting small game with the Contender G2 being released in 1998 mainly with updates to the trigger mechanism. The airsoft Contender G2 is currently only made by Farsan though it does have several models with different colors and barrel lengths such as the Farsan Thompson Airsoft Contender G2 250mm Break-top 6mm CO2 Pistol - Black and the Farsan Thompson Airsoft Contender G2 370mm Break-top 6mm Gas Pistol - Silver.
