The Steyr M is a series of semi-automatic pistols developed by Steyr Mannlicher GmbH & Co KG of Austria for police services and the civilian shooting market. First introduced in 1999 with the M9 chambered in 9x19mm, the M series was developed to take advantage of new manufacturing techniques such as the use of injection moulded polymer for a lighter but more comfortable shooting experience. Since its introduction in 199 the Steyr M has been adopted by 8 nations for military and law enforcement. In airsoft the Steyr M is a very new addition to the industry and as such, the only model of it is produced by KJW in the form of the KJ Works Airsoft STEYR L9A2 GBB Pistol - Black (ASG Licensed) hopefully in time we will have more variations of this modern Austrian pistol.
