Tanaka shows us that shell ejecting is not just for classics, they did it with revolvers and then with shotguns, and recently, with the m700 police model and now this variant. The choice of militaries and competition shooters around the world, watch the video to see its brethren M700 in action!
Finished in a rugged surface texture, the M24's receiver is extremely realistic; this model features a more ergonomic shape to be a little friendlier on the hands. The fluted barrel helps it look the part, as does the accessory rail it comes with for immediate mounting of that big cross hair scope to give it that distinctive Sniper look. Additionally, 2 sling mounts up front means that you can mount a bi-pod on one, while keep the other free for actually attaching a sling. Rubberized butt pad makes the gun comfortable to shoulder while its adjustable plate makes it easy to tweak for your peronaly preferred length. The internal magazine holds 5 rounds, and the gun comes with 5 rounds, although additional shells can be purchased.
Shooting this gun delivers a highly realistic experience with the cocking motion chambering a round and ejecting a shell when you re-cock. The shell ejection does not utilize the bolt pull to push the brass case out but instead uses a spring mechanism to throw it clear so that regardless of how fast or slow you pull the bolt the shells will always eject with the same force in the same direction.
The 5-round internal magazine is not removable, instead it is meant to be hand loaded from the top; the floor plate is removable for rapid unloading and technically allows loading from the bottom but its tricky to do so. The rear of the bolt also features a plunging button that protrudes rearward out of the bolt when the weapon is cocked otherwise lying flush when it is not.
Shells in revolvers recreate that distinctive hand-loading experience, Shells in shotguns recreate that distinctive pump action racking and shell ejecting; now, thanks to Tanaka, that iconic bolt action cycle is now complimented with that distinct long cartridge tumbling out, up and to the right, flipping though the air before coming to rest with that distinctive ring of brass on the floor.
One hit one kill, would not be the same without that one shell making lonely crop circles in the dust, on the floor.
