| First seen at Ash Bash 2007, and given away as a prize for one lucky winner, this RWC AK Saiga is based on the Russian-made semi-automatic shotgun of the same name. As you can tell from the name it is based on the Kalashnikov platform, which provides a reliable and maintainable foundation for a semi-auto shotgun. Note that this is an AEG and shoots in semi and full auto mode. It is a custom model designed to look like the AK SAIGA.
No job is too much for our technicians at Redwolf Airsoft, and when the Redwolf President first came up with the idea of creating a Saiga, the boys got their heads down and the finished result is quite stunning. The end result is a AEG which has the AK foundations but with the look of the Saiga shotgun, as you can see, just like the real one it features the hybrid of aesthetic styles. The hand-guard and outer barrel are what sets it apart from everything behind it, which is pure Kalashnikov. Everything has been custom milled and frabricated from scratch, with solid constructed gun. None of these parts are factory bolt on parts and are all custom. A tactical grip has been added too, to add to the aesthetics.
