Description

The TAR-21 (or simply Tavor) is an Israeli bullpup assault rifle chambered for 5.56×45mm NATO ammunition with a selective fire system, selecting between semi-automatic mode and full automatic fire mode. Built around a long-stroke piston system (as found in the M1 Garand and AK-47), the Tavor was designed to maximize reliability, durability, and ease of maintenance, particularly under adverse or battlefield conditions.

This particular limited edition version (only a couple hundred were made and we have confirmed that no more will ever be produced) of the Hephaestus Custom Made T21 GBBR will come with the Optonics ISMV red dot scope as well as the Gemtech suppressor and the combination only intensifies how threatening Project T looks. Even though the body is made of plastic, the metallic internals and added accessories only add to the heft as it weighs a total of 4.2 Kilos which is even heavier than the real steel version. This is a solid and heavy gun and is not for the faint of heart.

Does the weight interfere with the recoil, most certainly not. Hephaestus are known for taking the GHK system and doing something magical with it, like their HTS-14 and soon to be Type 97, and we all know GHK are also known for how intense the recoil is especially in their M4, AK, and G5 GBB series. It may not be as intense as the real steel version, but the recoil is still rather satisfying. And did we mention the pleasing sound of the bolt as it fires away?

The most surprising aspect is how accurate this particular bull-pup is as a stock rifle. With 0.3g BBs shooting at a target 20 meters away, the grouping is smaller than the palm of ones hand. One can only imagine its potential to how accurate it can be with heavier BBs and a few internal upgrades. One thing is for certain, you will not want to be on the receiving end of this GBBR.

Limited edition run means that these will likely become collector pieces at some point in the future.
