AIRSOFT M1 CARBINE / AIRSOFT M2 CARBINE

The M1 Carbine is a semi-automatic carbine that was a standard firearm for the U.S. military during World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War while the M2 carbine is the selective-fire version of the M1 carbine, capable of firing in semi-automatic and full-automatic. Despite having a similar name and appearance, the M1 Carbine is not related to the M1 Garand rifle. First introduced in 1942, the M1 Carbine was intended for second line support troops as a personal defense weapon but quickly became popular amongst officers and NCOs due to its compact size and light weight. The M1 was produced in several variants and widely used by paramilitary and police forces around the world where it still remains in use. The airsoft M1 Carbine while has a limited number of model mostly made by King Arms, these include the King Arms Airsoft M1 Carbine CO2 Sniper Classic Rifle and the King Arms Airsoft M2 Carbine GBBR. Oddly enough while the Marushin M1 Garand EXB2 Walnut 6mm Co2 Blowback Version (Brass Piston) is called an airsoft Garand, it is in fact an airsoft M1 Carbine.
