It's about time KSC release their long awaited Makarov. Fans have been waiting for what it seems like a millennia but here it is, on February 2015, ready to impress!

The Makarov is a true classic of Russian design that was the Soviet Union's standard military side arm from 1951-1991. The KSC Makarov PM GBB Pistol (System 7) has quite a heft to it even though it has a smaller, compact form factor weighing in at only half a Kilo.

It may seem very simple, but all simple functional parts are very well made and rather stiff like the real steel version would be. The slide release requires a bit of effort to push down and the decocker forces you to tense your thumb more. These are all great perks but what it all really comes down to is how well it shoots.

Before we get to that, we should mention that the magazine has a capacity of 10 BBs which doesn't sound like much at all considering how quickly one would run out of BBs. This will require you to pick your targets carefully and also where to hit your target as it's not the most powerful BB gun in the world.

All GBB pistols that come out of Japan has a power limit of around 280 fps which is something one wouldn't feel from afar, so you'll have to get rather close to your targets which is the entire point of the Makarov. After all, it's not a sniper rifle.
