VFC SR15 E3 IWS AEG Airsoft Rifle (KAC) - Tan

In the mid 90s, the SOPMOD (Special Operations Peculiar Modification) project from the US DOD, they use their RIS (Rail Interface System) to provide a standard system which allows the various tactical attachment such as rail-mounted devices, flash lights etc; it also brings forward a new epoch in the modular weapons system.

Due to the response from the battlefields, America's Army had found new needs for the Rail Interface System (RIS). To match the constant needs of America's Army, KAC has continued to upgrade their systems to make the new URX (Upper Receiver Extending) system. The URX provides several advantages, for instance, it provides an interrupting rail which does not increase in height over the barrel, which had in previous generations caused sighting problems for attached optics. With the URX installed, the barrel is now free floating which also increases the overall accuracy.

At the same time, KAC came out with the IWS (Integrated Weapons Systems) concept. Making the URX integrated with various accessories, such as a spare folding front sight, quick detach (QD) sling mounts etc... Increasing the overall combat and tactical ability of the entire weapons system.

Constructed from high quality aluminum alloys and steel, with CNC machining to a military standard finish. The resulting product has the exact look and feel of the real steel. The many metal components of the SR15 E3 IWS give it a solid but well balanced, easily maneuverable feel. The grip and Crane type stock are made of military grade nylon with fiber. And perhaps the most notable feature of the SR15 E3 IWS is its unique grip (also present on the VFC SR16 E3 IWS), it is more slender than other AEGs in the market today!

It features Original Manufacturer marking laser etched into the body, the VFC SR15 E3 looks absolutely stunning. It is truly an ambidextrous rifle, offering magazine and bolt release buttons on both side, but wait, even the fire selector is ambidextrous!

The SR15 E3 comes equipped with a 5-positional crane stock, a removable flip up rear sight, and a flip up front sight that has been integrated with the 275mm URX Front Set. The unique patented design of the ?Bolt Lock System? allows for easy hop-up adjustment. This series comes with an enhanced trigger guard, to allow ease of use with gloves. The 4mm IWS rails allows the installation of optics, lasers, and accessories with ease! A 16 Steel Barrel tops this work of deadly art off.

The internals consists of an 8mm enhanced precision Gear-Box. Equipped with professional steel bushing, high strength steel gears, a durable Polymer Carbon made from the same material as used on the Glock pistol frame, and high quality ball bearing spring guide. It has been strictly tested by a 12 volt Car Battery and is suitable for use with Lithium-Polymer batteries.
