The MK18 is a gun that almost needs no introduction. The gun was originally designed to take full advantage of the modularity of the AR platform as the M16 or the standard M4 platform is not the perfect solution for every situation or engagement. The MK18 was then designed to create a gun with a shorter barrel yet be extremely accurate. Most notably, the MK18 is used by many of the US Special Operations forces and made famous in Iraq and Afghanistan.
