A gang of professional bank robbers, under the direction of a brilliant criminal mastermind (De Niro), comes up against an equally matched detective (Pacino) who is determined to bring them down. Lots of great urban combat scenes - Pacino and De Niro use their guns with style! Below you see De Niro brandishing an Colt Commando as he darts out from behind a car, while Val Kilmer takes aim with an SG/1 below. De Niro is also seen working with both a P220 .45mm (black and white photo) and a Glock 17. Note this is a really long movie!

One of the best shootout scenes ever seen in a movie depicts DeNiro making a complex robbery on a bank in the middle of a bustling city. Close to making a clean breakaway as Val Kilmer walks confidently out of a bank in his finely pressed suit and a huge bag of cash, Al Pacino arrives on scene to kick of one of the deadliest city shootouts ever seen. If you are renting this on DVD, remember to turn on Dolby ProLogic or THX for maximum effect. The gunfire resonance and the ejecting cartridges add an unmatched thrill to this scene!
