Jean-Claude Van Damme plays Chance Bodreaux, a salesman who rescues a beautiful woman from a gang. The woman (Yancy Butler) asks Chance for help in the search for her father. What they donīt know is that he has been killed by ruthless murderers, who kill for fun.

John Woos first American action film is full of Woos regular standard tricks including doves, slow-motion, motorcycles, stunts and a lot of crazy action. Woo gives more guns to Van Damme than he can handle. The final in a warehouse is great, with Jean-Claude sporting a pair of Berettas - one in each hand. He does the stunts all by himself. Arnold Vosloc, who plays one of the bad guys, is also good with his Mossberg shotgun.
