Razorback technology is the system interface of multifaceted technologies to create a goggle that manages the environment triad of fogging, particulate and moisture.
OptiWide is our patent pending lens geometry that masters optical clarity and bends it beyond all periphery to create the industry's leading field of view. All lenses exceed ANSI Z87.1 standard.
BMRF stands for our Buckle Management Retention Fastener. The BMRF allows for quick and easy strap replacement in any condition. The modular buckle system allows the goggle to integrate with multiple helmet platforms.
VS Foam is proprietary goggle foam designed to wick moisture away from your face.
Our eyesight is a most valuable sense, something that should not be taken for granted when playing airsoft, which means that buying adequate eye protection is of utmost importance when kitting yourself out to play on the field. With so much choice out there it may seem quite daunting for the beginner who is not sure which brands to trust. Video tests are great ways of finding out how a goggle fairs when shot at. The ideal result is that the BB would not penetrate the goggles at all with little damage to the surface of the lens. SOCOM Gear have taken the test to the extreme by using a 0.22 subsonic and 12 gauge shotgun to shoot at the Arena 2 Goggles. Obviously, we wouldn't advise that you carry out a test like this, but luckily they have done the test already, so you don't need to. Here's the photo of the Arena 2 Goggles after a 0.22 subsonic round.

It's good to be re-assured when buying safety products, so we are very happy indeed to see SOCOM Gear doing these tests.
We will hopefully be getting the Arena 2 goggles in very soon, you can also find out more info here: www.socomgear.com
