Tokyo Marui Biohazard Samurai Edge S.T.A.R.S. M92F 15th Anniversary (Limited Edition)  
Resident Evil / Biohazard (バイオハザード Baiohazādo) is a computer game by Capcom created by Shinji Mikami and released in March 1996. Chris Redfield (クリス・レッドフィールド Kurisu Reddofīrudo) is one of the two main protagonists in the first Resident Evil game, the other being Jill Valentine. Chris has been an occurring character in the series since its beginning and will continue to appear in future versions.

As an elite S.T.A.R.S.(Special Tactics And Rescue Service) member of the Raccon City Police Department he is issued with their standard sidearm. The special edition Samurai Edge S.T.A.R.S. model was released a good while back and now this version has been released in 2011 to celebrate the 15th Anniversary since the original appearance of the game, Chris Redfield and his pistol.

This is the 2011 Limited Edition BioHazard 15th Anniversary Samurai Edge M92F Kendo S.T.A.R.S. Custom Chris Redfield Model. Under the hood it is a standard type Marui M9 so it cycles on HFC134a / Duster gas for a standard 275 fps Japan power and feeds from the usual 26 round M9 gas magazine. Of course a pistol like this is not about the performance, it is a collectors piece.

The fact that it is a fully functional 6mm Airsoft gas blowback M9 with decent mag size and a good hop-up is just icing on the cake. As a GBB you can of course gas it up with no BBs and still dry / blank fire it with no ammo for dramatic / costume purposes.

The gun itself has the full set of S.T.A.R.S. markings and whatnot but does not have 15th Anniversary markings (as that would undermine the sincerity of replicating the gun from the game). This special edition pistol comes with a 20mm metal S.T.A.R.S. RACCOON POLICE pin as well.

It has only been 15 years since the release of this iconic game that forms a cornerstone in the history of modern gaming and yet S.T.A.R.S. special edition weapons are already running dry. If you do not already have one of these then consider getting one soon because one day surely these things will completely disappear for good (turning these babies into much sought after rare collectors pieces).
