King Arms Colt M4A1 Gas Blowback  
King Arms jumps on the GBBR band wagon with their rendition of the venerable M4A1. Quite how this system measures up only time will tell but at initial impressions its a very decent contender. 370fps out of the box with consistency and accuracy makes it good enough for outdoor shooting whilst also low enough for shorter range engagements. Metal receiver, barrel and details with polymer handguard, grip and multi-position stock; a strait up true to form combination of the correct materials. The combination of polymer and copious amounts of aluminium make it not too heavy but still decent heft and well balanced coming in just shy of 3 kg.

At short to middle range it puts out pellets with good consistency and accuracy, the kick is not the strongest out there but it comparable to most other models with the rate of fire similarly mid tier. The system appears to be similar to the real steel like the WA/G&P WOC/Inokatsu systems with a full bolt carrier group and realistic loading ramp.

This model comes with two recoil buffers; 7mm and 5mm slightly soft buffer blocks, they can be added to the inside of the buffer tube. Leaving them out allows normal function but one or both (3 combinations plus no buffers) you can shorten the cycle action which prevents a bolt lock but will decrease cycle time thus increasing the rate of fire.

With China made cheap gas rifles all but disappeared completely from the market, the King Arms with this level of performance and quality in combination with its highly competitive price tag make it a new bidder for the budget gas blowback rifle sector of the market.
