The SPR, used by Special Operations Forces of both the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy, is a heavily modified light designated marksman variation of the M16 line of infantry weapons, and is chambered for NATO standard 5.56x45mm ammunition. It's been in service since the turn of the millennium and seeing an airsoft version is incredibly rare. So rare in fact, that Airsoft Surgeon only decided to make one!
Introducing Airsoft Surgeon's modern take of the MK12 Proto 2. It's a thing of beauty. Not only does it look like a dream, it shoots like one too. Of course it does since the base is an Inokatsu M4 GBBR but the special thing is that you won't see any of these internal parts anymore as all the internal parts have been polished and modded to make it function even more spectacularly. The bolt is very lightweight and will have no desire to break any time soon that's for sure.
The most identifiable part is the free float handguard, completely made from scratch out from Polycarbonate plastic. It has a steel yet furnished outer barrel, scope mount rings and a very unique looking steel flash hider replicating the look of the real steel version. The front sight is also made out of steel. It comes with rails for all your accessory needs and a bi-pod to keep it stable. On top is a 3-9x40 scope. It is a used by snipers after all. The grip itself is an incredibly ergonomic PRI pistol grip designed for comfort and long term use.
You want to have the best magazine around when shooting this GBBR so it comes with a 50 round ProWin magazine made specifically for the Inokatsu M4. This is the modern version but Airsoft Surgeon felt as if this needed the M16A2 stock of the past. Even so, say hello to the modern era!
With everything in place, the only thing to talk about is how it shoots. At a stable 430 fps, taking into account laws and restrictions of Hong Kong, this is enough to reach those targets out far.
This is a one of a kind product. Treat it with care!
