The Interceptor is a type of body armor fielded by the US Military back in the 2005s. Though long phased out of active service use, the Interceptor was much more effective than traditional Bulletproof Vests and is the successor to the PASGT. The Interceptor has since been replaced by the IOTV body armor as well as other newer types of body armor.
If you are the type of person who enjoys period uniforms then the Interceptor would be your perfect load out, especially when you want to imitate the US Army in 2005. The Interceptor features 2 cavities on the front and rear face of the armor for the placement of SAPI (Small Arms Protective Insert) plates, the vest itself is covered in the PALs webbing system and will fit all MOLLE compatible items.

Made of light weight abrasion and water resistant 1000D Invista Cordura fabrics with ITW Nexus & UTX buckles with Mil-Spec. Sewing Seams and UTX top quality brass snap buttons adopted. Mil-Spec. Velcro is good for over 20,000 uses.
Mil-Spec. 420 denier Nylon liner improving durability and water resistance.
