Airsoft Surgeon Metal Slide for Hi-Capa 5.1 & 1911A1 (Eagle 5.0 / Black)

Precision CNC machined from 6062 Aluminium, the Airsoft Surgeon offers some of the finest custom pieces in all of Airsoft. 6061 is a precipitation hardening aluminum alloy containing magnesium and silicon as its major alloying elements. It has good mechanical properties and is most often used in Aircraft and boat construction and car frames. It is not as strong as Steel but has slightly more forgiving flex and is lighter.

The Airsoft Surgeon takes the basic idea of race gun skeletonizing as the core principle. A process by which a pistols form has holes added and chunks removed to reduce its overall weight to allow more agile movement with it. The racegun look is very distinctive and since its heavy use in competition shooting the Airsoft IPSC circuit absorbed the idea and styling many years ago.

Far more then just function, the Airsoft Surgeon is an artist who uses the process as an opportunity to express unique style and form. The Aluminium is combined with hard wearing powder coatings to add dull, colored finishes; this offers the various parts in a variety of colors and finish options.

Marrying classic 1911 lines with a modern cut and striations for grip as much as flair, Eagle 5.0 slides look more at home on 1911s but can just as easily be dropped on Hi-Capas to give them and old world look rather than the sharp lines of the Hi-Capas native shape. This slide is available in silver and two-tone black and silver to shift the contrasting tones either way to your liking.

This product includes only the slide and guide rod sleeve.
