A funky piece of metal for supporting that weapon; maybe its too heavy, too long or just needs to be really still for stealthiness or stable for long range shooting.
Whatever the case, a bipod is not an essential piece of gear for most, not even used by faster moving types but for the slow and more purposeful operators the bipod is a basic piece of gear that can go a long way.
Lockable hinge that holds the legs individually at a hard locked horizontal forward or vertical downward position. The legs are length adjustable from 15cm / 6 inches to 21cm / 8 inches. The attachment bracket is a standard accessory rail type with a spring loaded lock plate which screws tight.
The Aluminium tubular design puts this in at around 300g / 11oz and an overall folded length of 22cm / 8.5 Inches; that is by no means enormous or massive but it is still a front-heavy weight so you will have to work out for yourself if support stability is worth the price of reduced overall agility.
