This SOCOM Gear has created the most spectacular M82 to date with official licensing from Barrett Rifles. Ronnie Barrett, founder and CEO of Barrett Industries liked this SOCOM Gear M82 so much that he signed his name on the certificate of authenticity! They also felt that this airsoft Barrett was authentic enough to be used as a display item at international firearms tradeshows! The real steel .50cal M82 weighs in at a hefty 12.9kg (22 pounds) (when empty), and the SOCOM Gear is no toy either at a total weight of 10kg (Just the gun itself). SOCOM Gear calls it "BIG, HEAVY, TRUE TO LIFE". We couldn't agree more! This CQB version is just as heavy as the long one and does not compromise on power either, delivering the exact same punch as it's longer sibling.
This RWC M82 features a G&P metal gearbox with all metal parts. All high quality, high strengh G&P internal parts, 8mm bearings, 400 FPS spring and M120 motor which gives for reliable, skirmish power with a good cycle rate for crisp shooting. That combined with the 24 inch barrel makes for a fearsome marksman's platform.
The M82 features a reinforced steel body with a Heavy Duty aluminum outer barrel (spring loaded like the real gun) and muzzle brake all done up in a super flat matte finish. A movable charging handle together with a dummy bolt cover adds to the overall effect of the M82, even better is the full length numbered top rail and authentic licensed Barrett Rifles engravings on the true 1:1 scaled external parts, magazine, Bipod, upper body and barrel. Due to legal reasons however, the SOCOM Gear M82's internal dimensions and lower body parts are Not to 1:1 Scale to comply with regulations.
The Version 2 M82 features a real steel styled barrel assembly with a super powerful recoil spring, signed by the owner of Barrett, Ronnie Barrett along with a certificate of purchasing an authentic and fully licensed replica.
Silencer, Batteries, Charger, and Scope are NOT included.
